About American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology

The mission of the American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology (AJSLP), first published in 1991, is to report peer-reviewed, primary research findings (basic and applied) concerning an array of clinically-oriented topics transcending all aspects of clinical practice in speech-language pathology. Because of its clinical orientation, the journal disseminates research findings applicable to diverse aspects of clinical practice in speech-language pathology. Prior to copyediting or formatting, accepted articles are published in the Papers in Press section of the Web site until moved to the first available, quarterly online issue in February, May, August, or November.
