    Landscape and Urban Planning is concerned with conceptual, scientific, and design approaches to land use. It emphasizes ecological understanding and a multi-disciplinary approach to analysis, planning and design. The journal attempts to draw attention to the interrelated nature of problems posed by nature and human use of land.<br/><br/>Papers dealing with ecological processes interacting within urban areas, and between these areas and the surrounding natural systems which support them, will be considered. Manuscripts in which specific problems such as social and cultural approaches to landscape issues are examined are welcome.
